Our stories have been somewhat lacking this last c Our stories have been somewhat lacking this last couple of weeks as we've had our heads down, running backwards and forwards between our old warehouse and our new HQ. It's been a mammoth task but we are now finally in! I'd love to say that's the end of it, but now starts the fit out and organising, so we can transform our new space into a home of efficiency ahead of the main event season. There is racking to build, kitchen and toilet facilities to instal, a cushion library to design and of course, our new showroom area to set up. We also have a shipping container arriving very soon, filled with some very exciting new goodies and of course, the last few bars and new custom pieces to finish off in the workshop. In between all of this, we still have some wonderful events to deliver and shoots to take part in! So, it's very much go, go, go at H of F this month but I'd love to hear how everyone else is spending their April and how plans are coming along for all the lovely weddings due to take place this year. We understand that one of the most common question We understand that one of the most common questions we receive from our clients is: 'What do we do if it rains?' often followed by 'Do I get a refund if it rains?' It's a valid concern, especially when planning an outdoor wedding or event. At House of Furn, we take the protection of our furniture seriously, which is why we have a clear policy regarding its usage in inclement weather. While our furniture is designed to withstand various conditions, it must be protected from the elements to maintain its quality and integrity. Therefore, if rain is forecast or begins during your event, we kindly ask that our furniture be moved indoors to ensure its preservation. We always recommend having a backup plan in place to accommodate our furniture indoors in case of poor weather. This ensures that you can still enjoy the beauty and functionality of our items without worrying about their exposure to rain or other adverse weather. If you do choose to use our furniture outdoors, it's essential to have an adequate crew on-site to assist with moving it if the weather unexpectedly changes. This proactive approach helps mitigate any potential damage and ensures a seamless experience for you and your guests. Before your event, we encourage you to check with your venue to ensure they have sufficient indoor space available to accommodate our furniture. It's also essential to coordinate with your event team to ensure you have the necessary manpower to move the furniture as needed, allowing you to focus on enjoying your big day without any concerns about logistics. In answer to the second question, in short, no! Unfortunately, being based in the UK, with ever changing weather conditions, we cannot run a business on the basis that we refund clients if the weather is too wet to use our furniture outdoors. That is why we are always happy to discuss your options to ensure you will be able to utilise the furniture no matter the weather. Our priority is to provide you with exceptional service and high-quality furniture that enhances your special occasion. By adhering to our policy and taking proactive measures, you can rest assured that your event will be a success, rain or shine.
