Styling Inspiration – Herbs & Lemons
Styling is at the heart of what I do, both as a Wedding Planner and as a rental collection curator. Styling inspiration can come from anywhere. Travel, interior design, art, literature, nature – literally anything! Continuing to bring you styling inspiration, even with limited to access to fresh flowers and specifically sourced accessories, has been so important to me during lockdown. Herbs and Lemons are staples in my household and their bright colours add a pop of interest to a table set up.
Using what we have around the house and garden is often just as effective as buying in fresh flowers and styling accessories. This week I bring you a simply styled garden table using potted herbs and fresh lemons. Perfect for Summer entertaining at home or as a fresh take on wedding styling.
Natural textural elements of seagrass and olive wood were added to complement the fresh elements of herbs and lemons, enhancing the relaxed charm of this concept.
Beautiful, simple stationery from ERA Calligraphy provide the perfect finishing touch to these place settings. With soft grey linen napkins tied informally in a loose knot, framing the menus. And oh so stylish!
The use of Philippe Starck Kartell Louis Ghost Chairs, from The W Collection, provide a subtle, modern touch to the design. And also work as a perfect juxtaposition to the rustic look of the table.
For an alternative to styling your garden or outdoor wedding table, you could try using faux foliage and silk ribbons. For Eucalyptus and Silk styling inspiration, visit my post here.
